Hi I’m Greg!

We discovered the beauty and wonder of living at the lake since moving our family and pets to the area in 2000 to better enjoy small town living with a more relaxed pace and hometown people.  Free time was spent at the parks, on trails and unique lake spots.

My recent retirement has allowed us a new fur-ever friend, a white Husky/Lab we called Cooper.  We have always enjoyed adopting and caring for “stay at home” pets but through Cooper, who loves all dogs, people and kids, we have found a whole new world of amazing people, pets and adventures to share.

The Port Elgin dog park has been an amazing opportunity for Cooper and, more importantly, us as caregivers, to learn, train and share the love, leadership and friendship that all pets deserve and need to thrive.  Through almost daily walking the hill at the park, we were thrilled with all the caring and generosity of fellow dog lovers who easily shared advice, tips, crazy dog stories and just plain fun.  A real standout among the group was meeting Courtney and seeing her interacting with Cooper and her pack of canine sidekicks, always in tow.  Everyone loves the energy and enthusiasm she pours into her passion.  Her success in growing Blessed FurEver has presented the opportunity now, for me to join her unique brand of education, training and commitment for all pets and owners.

I look forward to meeting you all and sharing time with your special FurEver friends on our journey to living our best lives.  Look for me at the end of the leash!

TRUDY (TRU)

Specialized Care (Providing Safety, Building a Routine, & Creating Structure, Maintaining Consistency that will last a lifetime!)

Training (on leash, recall, manners, patience, practicing basic commands)

All customized by owners’ request/pets’ needs

Daily Walks/ Overnights in her home or yours!

Trudy has been walking, boarding and training dogs since 2017 for both Port Elgin and Southampton residents and their fur babies…she opens her home to kindred spirit animals while their owners are away from their homes with multiple walks every day, playtime in the backyard or at the dog beach with balls, frisbees and sticks, lots of snuggles and cuddles along the way and yes even grooming if requested.  Trudy has a particular fondness for helping puppies learn the ropes of walking calmly by their walker’s side while refreshing other skills like come and leave it and don’t forget stay.  All the efforts are so worth it when they greet you the next time with warmth and excitement to go and do it all over again.  Her greatest tribute so far was being asked to be a god parent for one of the dogs she has been walking regularly for almost four years.  When she isn’t busy with canine and feline care, she operates a healing practice offering registered massage therapy and energy healing.

Hi! I’m Marley!

I’m so excited to be apart of the BlessedFurever team!! I’m 16 years old and I am currently in grade 11.

I live at home with my family and my dog Louis - you may already know my sister Sydney who is apart of the BlessedFurever team as well!!

Being with animals has taught me lots of patience and my heart is so full when I’m around them. It brings me a sense of purpose and something to look forward to everyday:) I love spending time with Sydney in our backyard when she brings dogs over, it makes my day!

I can’t wait to build more relationships with all our BlessedFurever friends😊🐶
